A <a href=\"http:\/\/iquilezles.org\/www\/material\/nvscene2008\/nvscene2008.htm\">better explanation<\/a> is on my reading list.<br \/>\nI also posted these on <a href=\"http:\/\/ompf.org\/forum\/viewtopic.php?f=6&amp;t=1302\">ompf<\/a>. A single sample at 1024&#215;768 takes about 6 seconds on a 2.4GHz Q6600 quad core CPU.
